Meredith Head has inspired us! Girl Talk Leader and current Girl Talk Teen Advisory Board member, Meredith Head writes in to tell us about how her Girl Talk chapter in Cartersville, GA recently became the focus of national attention! The MONTEL Show was in town to film a segment of their show featuring Girl Talk Founder and President, Haley Kilpatrick. Out of thousands of nominees, Haley was selected as one of five finalists in the Voices 2006 Campaign. Voices is an annual campaign, sponsored by Charming Shoppes, that honors everyday women across America for their passion, leadership and achievements as they raise their voice to create positive change. On this beautiful day, Haley received $20,000 to support Girl Talk, and film crews from the MONTEL Show spent the afternoon filming an actual Girl Talk meeting! It was so much fun for everyone involved, and we had a great lesson that afternoon!
